Alphonso Pelt founded Pelt’s Emporium to create an additional income stream during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The brand was envisioned as a premier destination for spiritually and fashion-conscious individuals who express bold, unapologetic identity through fierce, thought-provoking sportswear.

In 2022, Facing significant hardship, including homelessness, illness, hunger, and unresolved childhood trauma while navigating survival-level challenges, PE was placed on hold.

In 2023, Alphonso felt compelled to document his lived experience. What began as an urge to write became a deeply emotional process, bringing long-suppressed memories to the surface and marking the early formation of his memoir.

In 2024, additional life-changing events kept PE dormant. In October, Alphonso shifted his focus toward securing the therapeutic support he desperately needed.

In 2025, Beginning to work with a trauma-trained therapist, he formally committed to his healing journey. During therapy, it was revealed to him that millions of people silently live with childhood trauma and he became driven and determined to build a platform where survivors could learn, connect, and access support. In August 2025, he signed with Hawes & Jenkins to publish his memoir, The Terror In My Eyes, and later on October 18, he launched his video broadcast/podcast (Terror To Triumph) as part of his mission-driven work.

On the first anniversary of it's inception, the podcast entered its next phase re-branding Terror To Triumph to 3T THE PODCAST, and PE is reintroduced as a supporter-driven extension of the platform—allowing listeners to contribute while receiving artistically designed apparel created by a fellow survivor, Alphonso. His book release is projected for the last quarter of 2026.

3T THE PODCAST, began as Terror To Triumph-a once a week broadcast in 2025, now a tri-weekly podcast in 2026. Created for survivors, by a survivor- Alphonso Pelt, he survived the Four Horsemen of childhood abuse—verbal, mental, sexual, and physical; now using his podcast platform to be your safe space to breathe, heal, and find your strength.
