Alphonso Pelt created Pelt's Emporium (PE) out of the need to earn an extra stream of income in 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic crisis was at it's height. Alphonso wanted the business to focus on becoming a premier designation for spiritual and fashion conscious people who are bold enough to make unapologetic statements to the world by wearing sportswear fashion that's fierce, thought provoking, and stylish- all while saying, "This is who I am!"

In 2022, Alphonso found himself struggling on several fronts. While battling homelessness, illness, hunger, and internal issues he never addressed from his childhood, PE was put on the back burner while living in crisis.

In 2023, the urge to document his pain became dominant. He felt God compelling his spirit to write- stirring recollections he'd forced from his mind decades ago- which invoked sorrowful and painful memories that had tears streaming down his face on many days.

In 2024, due to even more life changing events, PE still remained dormant. Alphonso shifted his efforts into seeking out the therapy that he sorely needed in October.

In 2025, Alphonso began to nurture himself as he found a trauma trained therapist and began his journey to healing. It was in a therapy session that a new paradigm shift occurred- the realization that there are millions who suffer in silence from childhood trauma- just like he had. Mr. Pelt became determined, creating a platform for trauma survivors to congregate. A safe place to learn how trauma effects, alters, and disrupts lives. Rebuilding and rebranding himself, he chose to create an online video broadcast/podcast to get the word out. Believing that this is what he was born to do, and walking in his spiritual calling; he took an incredible leap of faith to share information on how to cope as survivors and where to go for help. He signed a contract with "Hawes & Jenkins" in August, to publish his memoir, "The Terror In My Eyes."

Now, in 2026, the podcast, "Terror To Triumph" is starting it's second season and "Pelt's Emporium" was rebirthed as a way for supporters of the podcast to donate while receiving Artistically created designs by the Author and creator himself. His book is due to be released within the first half of 2026.

He survived all Four Horsemen of childhood abuse—verbal, mental, sexual, and physical —now, his podcast is your safe space to breathe, heal, and find your strength.
